Community Service

• There was this barber.

• He decided he was not going to charge for haircuts that week, as a community service.

• A florist went to the barber, and got a haircut.

• When he tried to pay the barber, he replied “I cannot accept money from you, I am doing community service this week.”

• The next morning, there was a “thank you” card at the barber’s door and a dozen roses.

• Then a cop came in to the barber’s shop and got a haircut.

• When he tried to pay the barber, he told him that he couldn’t accept the money and he was doing community service.

• The next morning, the barber found a “thank you” note and a dozen donuts at his door.

• Then a Congressman came into the barber’s shop.

• He got a haircut, and when the barber couldn’t accept the money, he smiled

• The next morning, the barber found a dozen other Congressmen lined up for a free haircut.
